spindle arms
rolled, twisted into oblivion
gentle claws brush against my skin
lulling me into believing its benevolence.
slits for eyes, toxic emeralds glow 
the beast inches nearer, pulling me into its abyss.

the child is afraid of
the monster under the bed
for it lurks so near.

insanity’s lair is closer.

from the darkness of my black hole abyss
moonlight blazes
blinding my atrophied senses
your touch is violence
each kiss a vicious attack

i cower; i flee
i embrace the comfort of emptiness

broken violet shards
engage in cosmic conversation
whispering like masochistic sirens
begging to be held once more
and dashed against the cold galaxy
